In the last week of March, MedCities participated in the launch of the Spanish Territorial Antenna as part of the Interreg Euro-MED Green Living Areas Mission, representing the URWAN project. This event served as a key moment to connect with Spanish entities engaged in thematic projects and to identify potential synergies for urban sustainability.
During the event, we had the opportunity to explore innovative initiatives focused on community involvement and nature-based solutions (NbS)—two fundamental pillars of URWAN’s approach to enhancing urban resilience and promoting sustainable urban transformation. Strengthening these connections will allow us to join forces with like-minded projects and expand the impact of NbS in Mediterranean cities.
