On 13 December 2024, the URWAN Project will be presented during the event “Discover GREENO2: Sustainable Innovation in Action”, hosted by the University of Social and Media Culture in Toruń, Poland, with the option to participate online. The event is co-organized by the Regional Center for International Debates in Toruń as part of the GREENO2 Erasmus+ KA2 Project.
The conference will showcase how higher education institutions can drive sustainability and innovation, focusing on integrating green roofs, Nature-Based Solutions (NbS), and environmental research into academic and urban contexts.
The URWAN Project presentation will feature:
- The mission to develop a Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) Catalogue for urban and peri-urban resilience.
- Key pilot actions in areas such as the Turano Valley and Gerace.
- Insights into creating a sustainable governance model through NbS.
Additionally, the presentation will include a spotlight on MyM0De Innovation, a cutting-edge modular construction system offering remarkable advantages for green roof implementation. MyM0De’s flexible design, sustainability focus, and compatibility with green infrastructure make it a game-changer in enhancing the functionality and efficiency of green roofs.
This event represents an opportunity to explore synergies between the URWAN and GREENO2 projects and to connect with stakeholders invested in sustainability, innovation, and modular green infrastructure solutions.
