Webinar – 12 May 2026
The webinar represented an important opportunity for technical and scientific discussion on Nature-based Solutions, thanks to the contributions of two experts working on sustainability, innovation, and territorial development.
- Arianna Latini (ENEA – Department for the Sustainability of Productive and Territorial Systems) presented the role of NbS in urban transformation processes, with a focus on climate resilience, climate change adaptation, and strategies for more sustainable and resilient cities.
- Luca Pofi, engineer specialised in energy and sustainable architecture, shared experiences and innovative solutions related to off-site modular construction and the patented MyM0De system, highlighting the potential of design approaches oriented towards energy efficiency and construction sustainability.
The initiative is part of a seminar series on Ecological Transition promoted by Azienda Speciale Centro Italia, in collaboration with ODAF Viterbo and with the support of the Chamber of Commerce, involving professionals, public stakeholders and territorial actors.
Through the #URWAN project, we are developing several urban case studies based on the implementation of Nature-Based Solutions, aimed at supporting climate change adaptation and more sustainable water management practices.
In Rome, at the “Matteo Ricci” Comprehensive School (Municipality IX), a pilot intervention is currently underway as a concrete example of green infrastructure applied to school environments, designed to improve:
✔️ urban climate resilience
✔️ sustainable stormwater management
✔️ environmental quality and educational value of school spaces
