From December 4th to 5th, the URWAN project (Urban Regenerative Water Avant-gardeN), co-funded through the INTERREG Euro-MED Programme, will host an exciting series of events in Ptuj, Slovenia. This gathering offers a unique opportunity for stakeholders, partners, and associated professionals to deepen their understanding of Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) as vital tools for sustainable urban regeneration. By joining these events, participants can engage with experts, explore innovative strategies, and actively contribute to overcoming the challenges that often hinder NbS implementation.
A valuable opportunity for URWAN stakeholders and partners
URWAN invites stakeholders and associated partners to join an immersive two-day event in Ptuj, Slovenia, from December 4th to 5th, 2024. This event will spotlight the practical application and strategic development of Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) for urban regeneration, with a focus on sustainable water management. By attending, participants will gain invaluable insights into NbS and explore ways to integrate these solutions effectively within local contexts.
Why Attend?
URWAN’s interactive approach offers a unique platform for stakeholders to build capacity and learn hands-on skills through a Living Lab and collaborative training sessions. Participants, especially municipal technical staff and professionals from fields such as urban planning, engineering, and environmental sciences, will have the chance to engage directly with industry experts. They’ll also contribute to solution-building workshops aimed at overcoming the common barriers to NbS implementation.
This experience supports URWAN’s mission to foster creativity and interdisciplinary collaboration, crucial elements for tackling the complexities of urban regeneration.
Event Highlights
