The URWAN training programme

Designed for local authority managers, staff and technical professionals, the kits explore how green infrastructure and Nature-based Solutions (NbS) can strengthen climate adaptation, sustainable water management and urban resilience across Mediterranean territories.
The training comprises three core sessions, focused on establishing the conditions needed to trigger beneficial processes. This involves incorporating NbS into local regulatory frameworks and ensuring coordination across various departments, including planning, environment, and public works. It also addressed the economic and social viability of NbS, alongside financing and replicable models, with a strong emphasis on communication and participation.
